SSAA NSW is the peak body within New South Wales representing the shooting sports and recreational hunting. SSAA NSW promotes, supports and facilitates all forms of legal, responsible and ethical hunting, including the facilitation and promotion of pest animal management on private and public lands by volunteer hunters.
SSAA NSW is dedicated to building, maintaining and promoting SSAA NSW HuntFest over the next few years as the major naming rights sponsor of the event.
The partnership developed between SSAA NSW and the South Coast Hunters Club has contributed to SSAA NSW HuntFest becoming the premier event for hunting enthusiasts on the NSW South Coast.
South Coast Hunters Club President and SSAA NSW HuntFest organiser, Dan Field, has welcomed the continued support and involvement of SSAA NSW.
“It’s a huge achievement for us to have a major sponsor like SSAA NSW because they’re already such a big supporter and it just goes to show how much bigger and better SSAA NSW HuntFest itself has grown.” Mr Field said.
SSAA NSW HuntFest continues to provide a variety of outdoor experiences and expertise to all stakeholders, through dedicated sponsors and exhibitors that are passionate about hunting, shooting and the outdoors. It is a perfect opportunity for anyone new to hunting, or those wanting find learn more about this recreational pastime.
SSAA NSW HuntFest exhibitors offer visitors the latest in firearms, ammunition and hunting accessories, field dressing and butchery demonstrations, outdoor products and equipment.
“SSAA NSW has been a strong supporter of HuntFest from its inception and we’re delighted to see it continue to grow from year to year” SSAA NSW Executive Director Diana Melham said.
“The event draws additional tourism to the town, resulting in local economic stimulus and increased public awareness of recreational hunters and the valuable contribution they make in the conservation and protection of the environment, as well as to the local community.”
SSAA NSW HuntFest will be held on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June 2017 at the Narooma Sport and Leisure Centre, which is located on the corner of the Princes Highway and Bluewater Drive in Narooma.
